This policy explains how we notify creators about marketplace enforcement, how to appeal, the review standards we target, and what happens while a case is pending.
This policy supplements our Terms of Service. If applicable law requires a different process or timeline, that law controls.
The case process covers listing rejection or removal, Quality Guarantee or marketplace badge suspension, payout holds, account suspension, and account termination. Routine creator edits and voluntary unpublishing are not enforcement actions.
We provide a durable in-app notice and required service email identifying the action, effective date, applicable policy section, plain-language reason, evidence summary we can lawfully disclose, earnings status, appeal deadline, and any emergency-action rationale. We may limit evidence disclosure to protect another person’s privacy, security controls, confidential fraud methods, legal privilege, or an active inquiry.
We ordinarily provide notice with or before an enforcement action. We may act first when delay could create an immediate legal, safety, fraud, payment, security, privacy, evidence-preservation, or platform-integrity risk, or when a court, regulator, or payment provider requires immediate action. Unless law or a protected investigation temporarily prevents disclosure, we send the case notice promptly afterward, explain why prior notice was bypassed, and preserve the same appeal path and deadline.
14
calendar days to appeal
File through the creator case desk by the deadline shown in the notice.
2
business days to acknowledge
Our standard is to acknowledge receipt within two business days.
10
business days to target a decision
The target begins when the submission is complete.
For these targets, business days are Monday through Friday and are calculated in UTC. Federal holidays are not automatically excluded.
A creator may explain why a decision should change and attach up to five supported evidence files. A reviewer may request additional information, but that request does not pause or restart the decision clock. The current decision target and any scheduled update deadline remain in effect. If the additional evidence requires more review time, we must document an evidence extension before the current target date.
A reviewer who has a conflict must not decide the appeal. Permanent account termination cannot take effect on one person’s decision alone: a different authorized administrator must independently approve it. The account may remain temporarily suspended during that review. An appeal may be upheld or overturned. An overturned action restores the recorded listing, badge, payout, or account state.
The 10-business-day decision period is a target, not an absolute guarantee. A review may be extended only for legal, safety, fraud, payment-provider, additional-evidence, or unusually complex review needs.
We will send the extension before the current target date, identify the reason category, and provide a next-update date. We will send another update at least every 10 business days until the appeal is decided.
Filing an appeal does not automatically pause an enforcement action. We may keep necessary legal, safety, fraud, payment, security, or platform-integrity restrictions active during review. Earnings remain in the status shown in the case notice unless a later update or decision changes that status.
Open Enforcement & Appeals in your creator dashboard, select the case, submit your explanation, and attach any relevant evidence before the deadline. If normal account access is restricted, use the secure case link in the required enforcement email instead. Required case notices are sent even if optional notification emails are disabled.
